The fact that Dean Ambrose retained the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Title at the WWE Battleground in the triple threat match against Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins does not make him a champion for life. Reports have emerged that there is every possibility of him losing the title at the WWE Summerslam against Dolph Ziggler.
It is revealed that Dolph Ziggler became the no. 1 contender for the WWE World heavyweight championship title and would be contending the present champion Dean Ambrose. Reports states that, it’ll be an all-Ohio battle for the WWE Championship at SummerSlam after Dolph Ziggler earned a shot against Dean Ambrose.
More so, on Tuesday, there was a six-pack challenge to determine who the #1 contender for the title becomes but Dolph Ziggler proved himself worthy for the event and for the title. The six-pack challenge match was held by six WWE champions all in the SmackDown brand, these champions includes; John Cena, AJ Styles, Apollo Crews, Bray Wyatt and Baron Corbin and Dolph Ziggler who latter became the winner and the no. 1 contender for the title.
According to reports, for many fans, Ziggler was likely the biggest underdog among the six stars, this became a shock as nobody would happen this easily even FloSports’ Jeremy Botter was pleasantly surprised by the result which he never thought would happened thus because it was not expected of Dolph Ziggler among top superstars like John Cena and even Bray Wyatt and AJ Styles.
Now, it is believed among fans that Dolph Ziggler would make the win against Dean Ambrose and then becomes the WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
Furthermore, the reason why many among the WWE fans thought that Dolph would become the champion after SummerSlam was because they thought that he will overshadow Dean and that Dean is just a less entity for him.
