After one year and 3 months of debuting into the WWE main roster, Charlotte whose real name is real name Ashley Elizabeth Fliehr has finally decided to change her ring name which she feels will be a more remarkable move for her career.
According to WWE.com, Charlotte has finally changed her name and for now she is officially known as Charlotte Flair. She abandoned her father Ric Flair on the Raw after Extreme Rules in an emotional segment and replaced him with Dana Brooke as her sidekick.
It is revealed that One of the exceptional things Charlotte has done in the past 15 months is having recreated her character and making the most out of her heel persona.
Charlotte has emerged as a newer superstar in the WWE as her name has become brand new. Report states that one of the biggest challenges that Charlotte has had to face is to prove the critics wrong, who believed that her achievements were only due to her father’s name. Nonetheless, there are much more to be expected from the former women’s champion now.
More so, it will be interesting to see whether the addition of “Flair” to her in-ring name will make any difference in her future storylines and character development. The smallest of things can sometimes make the biggest difference, but if the #3 overall draft pick’s progress is any indication, she has proved that she can make gold out of anything. What do you think?
