WWE NEWS: Severe Complications On The Undertaker’s Hip Surgery — See Latest Update Concerning The Dead Man…

The Undertaker

The Undertaker’s return to the WWE ring did not happened as a shock but so many of the wrestling fans thought it is a shock because he just underwent a hip surgery which needed some time to recover.

The gong rang, the lights turned blue and The Undertaker made his long awaited stroll down the ramp to confront Shane McMahon and the rest of his Smackdown Live team.

While the segment became insanely popular amongst wrestling fans due to it marking the first time that The Undertaker has returned to a WWE ring after his Hell In A Cell pay Per View, it seems that Undertaker’s recent hip surgery could hold off Undertaker’s in ring return for a just a little bit longer. In fact, he might not even be able to compete at The Royal Rumble next year.

According to Cagesideseats.com WWE Rumor Roundup “WWE is discussing having Undertaker face AJ Styles at Royal Rumble 2017 – if Taker’s hip is fully recovered and rehabbed in time.” That might have been the original plan for The Undertaker, especially since it was rumored that the men’s Smackdown Live team would lose the five on five elimination style match, but after Smackdown Lives’ shocking victory at Survivor Series earlier this month, it looks like WWE is canceling their plans for The Undertaker’s return. They might even be holding off on his return until WrestleMania 33.

It could still be possible that Undertaker will somehow return and set his sights on WWE Champion, AJ Styles, but there is really little catalyst for something like that to happen after no one cost Smackdown Live the match at Survivor Series.

In all honesty, it looks like WWE went back on their plans after receiving news that Undertaker wouldn’t be ready in time for the match, so the change was made to give Smackdown live the win. Whether this cancels Undertaker’s run for good remains to be seen, but it doesn’t look good with WWE officials having so much doubt in The Undertaker’s in ring return at this point in time.
