The 16th time WWE Champion John Cena returned to the company after successfully recovering from an injury which kept him off the ring for some time. He made his return just exactly as announced by the champion himself on Monday Night RAW on May 30th.
At the time or era of his return, it was stated that John Cena will team with Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose to face Karl Anderson, Luke Gallows and AJ Styles. This match was set to happen on the return date of John Cena and fortunately we did saw something similar to what was announced even though it did not came as announced any way.
More so, when the return of John Cena was announced, his opponent was not in any wise announced so We said that we have not heard who John Cena will face in his return but all we sensed was that he may have to wrestle against Roman Reigns after their tag team match on May 30th Monday Night RAW. And John Cena vs. Roman Reigns will possibly main the event of SummerSlam. Summerslam came and gone but nothing of such happened. The main event of Summerslam was Randy Orton vs Brock Lesnar.
Many people still doubt the fact that Cena team with Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose to fight against AJ Styles, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows. Cena has fully recovered from his injury. Even before John Cena fully recovered, we saw him at WrestleMania 32 where he came to help The Rock against the Wyatt. But now, he is cleared by his doctor to return fully to the ring. John Cena is now fully back and has been privileged to gain access to the WWE World heavyweight champion; thus making him a 16 time champion in the WWE. What an awesome privilege indeed!
