The fight between former IBF lightweight champion Miguel Vazquez (36-5, 13 KOs) and 2nd tier welterweight Erick Bone (16-4, 8 KOs) was brought to a close after the 10 round agreed decision last Saturday night at Premier Boxing Champions at the Cowboys Dancehall in San Antonio, Texas. Vazquez said the next person he wish to fight is the former four division Adrien Broner, it actually unclear why both Broner and Vazquez will want to fight.
Just after the fight Vazquez said “I’ve always wanted to fight Adrien Broner. I want to make that,”

Looking deep at this whole scenario I think Vazquez is not yet fit for fight with any of the current champions in the weight class he will only turn out to be disgrace; his impression about fighting Broner is suicide because Broner will only destroy him.

Apparently Vazquez should just move a bit down from the weight to the light weight so he could have more success coming his way in the remaining years of his career. It would be surprising if Vazquez can get a fight against Broner. That would make Broner look really bad if he started fighting guys that appear to be over-the-hill like Vazquez.

Vazquez speaking said “There was some difficulty adjusting to the late opponent switch, but overall, no problem. I had been sparring southpaws as well as right-handers. If I could have followed up on some of the hooks and overhand rights, I could have gotten him out of there,”
