The retirement of Daniel Bryan is something that still leaves a shock in the heart of a lot of fans and Superstars; no one wanted him to go – he is one of the best wrestlers in the universe.

However, the reality is, he has announced his retirement owing to medical reasons. The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion broke down about a year ago at WrestleMania 31 where he suffered a concussion injury.

Since then WWE has been reluctant to let him wrestle again following a pending lawsuit on concussion injury the company faces. The idea is, if they should allow Bryan to wrestle and he suffered another concussion injury, the company would lose the concussion case in court hence would be fined a huge sum. So it’s not economically wise for the company do such.

Report said that, Bryan was told all these and even offered a non-wrestling role with the company but he refuses the offer and just before tonight’s RAW holding in his home town, he took to his Twitter account and announced his retirement.
