Titus O’Neil was suspended by Vince McMahon about a week ago but that was not the punishment the WWE Chairman had in mind to dish to him.

According to report, Vince McMahon was extremely angrily when he went back into the inner house of the company and talked about firing O’Neil but Triple H and Joey Mercury wouldn’t hear of that; they pleaded with him not to take that route. Hence O’Neil was initially suspended for three months but later reduced to two months.

What really happened was this, after Daniel Bryan and Brie Bella left the stage last RAW as Bryan’s finished his retirement speech, something shocking happened backstage. Titus O’Neil was in that kind of a mood, he jokingly pulled Vince McMahon’s hand in a way which Vince didn’t like.

Although there are mixed reactions as to why Vince was really angry with O’Neil, the bottom line is, O’Neil was suspended because he took McMahon in the hand.

Hence, his suspension was tied to “unprofessional conduct”. O’Neil has being with the WWE promotion for a while now after he was promoted from NXT. So we expect to see him back in the WWE Television by April or so.
