BREAKING NEWS: WWE Announcer/Staff Involved In A Deadly Car Accident — See Huge Announcement As Touching The Car Accident
Dean Ambrose’s wife, Renee Young is now full-time WWE Raw Announcer.
Renee Young becomes the first woman ever to become a full-time member of the announce team on the red brand in its over-25-year history, as WWE announced via Twitter earlier today.
Following her successful stint as the special guest commentator on the August 13 edition of Raw, which received universal praise, WWE has made the historic decision to promote her to the gig on a full-time basis. Beloved by both her colleagues and fans alike, Young brings a whole new dynamic to the show that we haven’t heard before.
She has previously served as a color commentator on NXT and WWE Superstars, as well as serving the same role during the current Mae Young Classic.
Beyond the announce table, Young has held several different positions all over WWE. She has been a backstage interviewer across all of WWE’s brands, hosted the pay-per-view pre-shows for some time now, and co-hosted the very popular and now extinct Talking Smack show alongside Daniel Bryan and others.
She also has hosted a variety of WWE Network shows, including her own interview show Unfiltered with Renee Young. Her vast popularity even led to her becoming a regular cast member of the show Total Divas.
In an era wherein WWE are really trying to turn the once-dominated men’s world of professional wrestling into a modern environment where both sexes are treated equally, this is a monumental step forward for Renee Young, WWE, and the business as a whole.
In a related development, Mauro Ranallo considers himself fortunate to still be alive after he was involved in a car accident last night.

The WWE NXT announcer took to Instagram today to share details of the crash, along with photos of the wreckage after a “car lost control and smashed into me at full speed.”
“An Angel was looking over me last night. A car lost control and smashed into me at full speed. Happy to report that no one was seriously injured. I’m still in shock. I guess my work here isn’t done yet. #ChristmasMiracle,” Ranallo wrote.
