Reports reaching our news-desk have confirmed that a popular big man in the show of the WWE is on the verge of losing his job with the company.

SmackDown Live hailed from the 02 Arena in London, England and was the source of continued controversy for SmackDown Commentator John Bradshaw Layfield (JBL). Before SmackDown kicked off, fans were seen shouting chanting “Fire Bradshaw” .

One wonders what may really be the cause of the sudden hatred on JBL by the estranged fans. The WWE is now on the cross road over the decision to be taken on JBL.

A long time mistake of JBL involving in of bullying wrestlers and other WWE employees for years now which he believed has been buried is now being exhumed. Some see his rumoured bullying of Mauro Ranallo as a nemesis that is now catching up with him, this seemed to be the reason why fans are calling for his job.

Ranallo was obviously not present on television heading into WrestleMania 33 and many fans began questioning what the reason for his unannounced absence.

Later, it was revealed that Ranallo would not be coming back anytime soon to the WWE after a bad bout with depression allegedly caused by JBL.

Fans were audibly heard “Fire JBL” chants and hashtags placards were seen everywhere since the story with Ranallo broke and they have not ceased despite him issuing a statement claiming his departure from WWE had nothing to do with JBL.

Ranallo issued his statement about JBL, many fans believe this is nothing but a way to save JBL from losing his job and it seemed to be a campaign after election.

With JBL’s alleged history of hazing and some of his controversial comments on Bring It to the Table, many fans seem more of the opinion that he is the real cause of Ranallo’s departure.

With this latest development in the WWE, Justin Roberts who is a former announcer of the company talked about the problem fans had with JBL along with several former employees.

All of these allegations and rumours have only strengthened the desire amongst fans to see JBL does not escaped being punished for his crime. On the latest episode of Bring it To The Table, there was no mention made of any of the issues surrounding JBL’s alleged bullying and his problems with Ranallo.

If the WWE wouldn’t bring it up there, it will be difficult to sweep under the carpet, considering that Bring it To the Table is the WWE’s controlled shoot program where fan grievances and opinions are tabled.

The situation with JBL continues to earn negative press for both the WWE and JBL himself. Due to the company’s kid-friendly program that promotes anti-bullying campaigns, any reports of hazing from WWE employees would make WWE look like complete liars.

With the issue of #fireJBL in the mouths of angry fans, The WWE may be helpless in saving his job this time around if there is no change of heart from the angry fans.
