It has been a usual culture for the WWE to get rid of a number of WWE Superstars annually. This year the WWE however did the “spring cleanup” however a bit too early. There have been several rumors about those that the WWE were going to bid a goodbye to this year, but it all remained a rumor until the WWE Officials decides.

The official WWE website on Wednesday afternoon, announced the release of one half Vaudevillians and Simon Gotch. Although there wasn’t a lot of information on how the selections were made, the WWE Network said that Gotch was done with the WWE early this month and the company wished him all the best in his future endeavors.

Simon Gotch was introduced to WWE NXT in 2013, a year after he formed a tag team with Aiden English. They went out to capture the tag team titles on one occasion. They were called up to WWE’s main roster in April of last year and picked up a win over the Lucha Dragons in their first ever match.

The Vaudevillians instantly shot up to the top of the tag team division. The WWE Tag Team Championship tournament was then put in place by the WWE officials. This tournament gave them a chance to face their number one contenders The New Day. and they ended up winning it.

After this Remarkable victories the Vaudevillians began to fall apart. This led to their defeat in recent WWE matches. One of which is their lost to Breezango last November. The tag team have done nothing since.

Although Simon Gotch and Aiden English did not have an individual match at WrestleMania 33, they however participate in the fourth annual Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. And were both eliminated.
