CHECKOUT WWE’S CURRENT PLAN FOR FREE AGENTS IN NXT

WWE definitely has three rosters full of talent, but they’ve also created a buffer zone for themselves with some superstars that can move between any brand. That being said, some fans are questioning the status of the two NXT Superstars, who are expected to be shot for RAW or SmackDown as free agents.

WWE Draft 2023 includes Brock Lesnar, Omos, Von Wagner, Mustafa Ali, Dolph Ziggler, Baron Corbin, Cedric Alexander, Shelton Benjamin, Apollo Crew, and Xyon Quinn. WWE fans have seen a few of these superstars pop up in different places at this point.

Baron Corbin and Mustafa Ali are also having a fresh run in NXT for a refresh. their characters. Corbin will also be Gable Steveson’s first opponent in WWE, it’s worth noting that he’s also Kurt Angle’s last opponent. Having that distinction with Olympic gold medalists is certainly another feather in the lone wolf hat.

With that said, some fans have expressed a bit of disappointment in the facts that Xyon Quinn and Von Wagner didn’t make the leap from NXT. Both are still in development as far as TV is concerned.

Wrestlingnewsplus had also reached out to inquire about their freelance agency status. We are told that at this time, Xyon Quin and Von Wagner are still at NXT. That’s not to say the call to RAW or SmackDown won’t happen this year.

WWE fans still have plenty of time until the end of 2023 and the current rosters will applied until next year’s draft. Only time will tell how much WWE might squeeze their free agency roster at this point, but they’re definitely taking advantage of a few…
