Checkout WWE’s Current Plans For William Regal’s Television Return

William Regal was just beginning to settle into his position as the leader of the Blackpool Combat Club in AEW and seemed like someone Tony Khan could use in a variety of roles.

Things then changed in WWE as Triple H, a longtime friend of William Regal, entered a position of power and was able to carve out a leadership position in his own way.

William Regal had Tony Khan released from his AEW contract, but was barred from appearing on WWE television for one year.

As a result, William Regal was not allowed to present the wargame, even though he is the company’s vice president of global talent development.

William Regal’s one-year contract is up, allowing him to appear on TV again. However, Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio said he has not heard anything about plans to make this happen.

“I haven’t heard anything about Regal being on TV, but I haven’t asked, either.”

We’ll have to wait and see if William Regal appears on WWE television in some capacity in the coming weeks.

If anything, Regal will definitely announce that War Games will take place in his 2024 year.

Triple H could use William Regal in different ways for each WWE brand. Regal is a former manager and authority figure, and currently as Vice President of Global Talent Development he is doing a great job with WWE. His son Charlie Dempsey is also active in NXT.

Needless to say, William Regal has plenty of reasons to be very happy with his position in WWE, even if he doesn’t return to television on a regular basis.
