CM Punk Allegedly Spreading Narrative On WWE Interest

CM Punk was fired by AEW and there are a lot of stories surrounding him right now.

Some of those could be things that Punk wants people to talk about at a time like this, when he just became a free agent after being released.

Today there is a buzz that CM Punk wants to return to WWE, and people close to Second City Savior say the two sides are currently in talks.

It seems like this story is gaining traction.

Wrestling News plus reached out to WWE to see if there is any interest in CM Punk returning and if there are indeed discussions about his return.
A regular member of the group told us that “there were no negotiations.”

It was noted that, “‘Those close to Punk’ are the ones who want the buzz out for negotiations, hoping the networks or Endeavor will make the deal real.” This was explained to us as CM Punk “trying to get himself in the door.”

We’ll have to see if there’s anything left to resolve in this situation.

Survivor Series is taking place in Chicago, but they have no trouble selling tickets to the show because it will feature a WarGames match.

Additionally, WWE booked the Survivor Series event in Chicago before CM Punk became a free agent again.
