CM Punk Currently Denying WWE Return

AEW fired CM Punk and he has not been affiliated with any other professional wrestling organization since.

That won’t stop the rumor mill from playing full-time. Now we have more information, but it’s not good news for the second city savior’s return to the company.

CM Punk posted a cryptic message saying people miss him. As we had exclusively reported, WWE and CM Punk are not at loggerheads.

In fact, WWE rejected CM Punk’s invitation when he tried to send out tentacles. Ringside News also exclusively reported that there are no such discussions between WWE and CM Punk.

Fans still think they see CM Punk teasing him on WWE TV. However, CM Punk was spotted backstage at a recent TV taping of Impact Wrestling.

On Fightful’s behind-the-paywall podcast, Backstage Report, Sean Sapp pointed out that CM Punk has privately denied discussing WWE with those close to him.

“I can tell you that CM Punk has told friends of his, close friends of his, ‘no that is not accurate.’ No board meeting planned, not scheduled for Survivor Series.”

This includes meetings with board members and Survivor Series in Chicago.

It was stated that WWE would keep CM Punk’s conversations secret, but that is not the case.

There are plenty of people denying his return, including Punk himself, so this should clear things up.
