Cody Rhodes Lost A Tooth During WWE Royal Rumble Match

Cody Rhodes’ long-awaited journey through finishing history ended with The American Nightmare winning the 2024 Royal Rumble match, earning him his first major victory.
But this came at a small price: a fractured tooth.

Cody Rhodes competed in a 30-man over-the-top rope battle royal in hopes of winning his second straight Rumble.

The battle was between him and another favorite, CM Punk, battling heart and soul. But in the end, it was Rose who knocked the world’s strongest fighter out of the ring and won the match.

However, before Prodigal Son could finalize his second Rumble win, Rhodes was punched in the mouth so hard at one point during the match that he lost a tooth.

With his victory, American Nightmare earned a ticket to the main event of WrestleMania 40 with a world title on the line.

Additionally, he made his intentions clear regarding the champion he would like to face at the Show of Shows.

After the win, Cody pointed to undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, who was sitting in the arena bleachers.

Therefore, he pointed to the long-awaited rematch at last year’s WrestleMania as the highlight of his own story.
