Indian national cricket team as finally made their decision, following the ongoing search for a new coach. Members of the Cricket Advisory Committe (CAC) which comprises of Sourav Ganguly, Tendulkar and VVS Laxman confirmed the speculation, while speaking to news men.They clear said that the search for a new coach as been concluded and a candidate deam for the job as been picked from the 10 men who applied for the job.

The committee has promise to send the name of their preferred candidate before Thursday as they continue their deliberation on the issue.

Though from leaked inform by curious news men, former India Test Captain Anil Kumble is seen as the possible candidate to land the job. Though the list is still just been shortlist to a six man list comprising of Anil Kumble, Ravi Shastri, Lalchand Rajput, Stuart Law, Tom Moody and Praveen Amre, inspite of this list Kumble still remain favourite for the job as argue-ably convince the entire committee of his clear vision. The committee felt a lot of his ideas were feasible, and that it could be implemented in the long run.

Prior to applying for the role, Kumble mentored two Indian Premier League (IPL) franchises in Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore. None of the foreign coaches impressed the panel, with CAC also being instructed to look out for a batting coach. Kumble’s presentation was the longest lasting close to two hours, highlighting the current problems faced by the national team.
