Drew McIntyre Trolls CM Punk After Royal Rumble Injury

Published

on

Drew McIntyre has been steadily growing in his role as a heel in recent months, shifting his focus to CM Punk, who was forced to abandon his WrestleMania 40 ambitions due to injury.
McIntyre, known for his sharp wit, once again decided to cruelly mock Punk.

As previously reported, CM Punk injured his triceps during the Royal Rumble match, raising concerns about his appearance at WrestleMania 40.

Fans expressed concern that he would miss out on an important opportunity.

Unfortunately, those fears were realized when CM Punk admitted on Monday Night RAW that he was indeed injured, ending any hopes of him headlining WrestleMania 40.
This led to Drew McIntyre brutally trolling him after his WrestleMania 40 dreams were also shattered.

In his latest meme, posted on Jan. 31, Drew McIntyre channels his inner Meek Mill and mentions the song “Dreams & Nightmares,” which he says says is for times like these.

He also claims to have been praying. In this context, “Times Like These” is a reference to CM Punk’s injury, which he mentioned in a promo for Monday Night RAW.

Drew McIntyre has further plans to make his punk dreams come true.
It remains to be seen whether he wins the Men’s Elimination Chamber match and secures a spot at WrestleMania 40.
But if he pulls it off, it would be the ultimate burn for CM Punk.
