EC3 Down Sets To Defend NWA Title Against Goldberg

EC3’s WWE career was widely criticized by fans when the company underused him on the main roster.

He eventually parted ways with WWE in 2020 and has never regretted it since.

Now it looks like EC3 has called Goldberg and made it clear that he wants to defend his NWA Worlds Heavyweight title against the WWE Hall Of Famer.

In case you forgot, WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg did a lot for the company, but he remained a free agent after his WWE contract expired.

Obviously, his retirement match is still a topic of discussion.

Ringside News exclusively reported that Goldberg was unhappy with the state of his retirement game.

It was also reported that Goldberg’s retirement match was not related to WWE.

In the climactic battle of NWA 75: Night Two, EC3 faced Tyrus for the NWA World Championship, where EC3 won and thus became the new champion.

While speaking on the UnSKripted podcast, EC3 made it clear that he was keen to defend his title against Goldberg and easily beat the WWE Hall Of Famer.

“I would love to see Big Bill challenge me.

I would love to see him come to the ring wearing the black and white gear he had with the WWF run.

I love like to see him throw some air punches and one giant crescent kick…

I would like to move out of the way of a Spear and then hit him with my finisher and defeat him.”

Either way, we’ll have to wait and see if Goldberg will challenge EC3 for their title, as fans believe Goldberg is still determined to have a retirement match even now.
