Ronda Rousey’s return to WWE at the 2022 Royal Rumble event had generated considerable excitement, but her subsequent run in the company has faced many challenges.

Despite winning the Smackdown Women’s Championship twice since returning, Rousey has not received the desired reaction from fans and it looks like her tenure in the WWE is coming to an end.

At the Money In The Bank Premium live event, Shayna Baszler attacked Rousey in the final moments of the match, which resulted in Raquel and Morgan reclaiming the WWE Women’s Tag Team Title.

This attack set the stage for a highly anticipated MMA matchup between Rousey and Baszler at the WWE SummerSlam Premium live event.

According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Bulletin, there is no official confirmation as to whether SummerSlam will be Rousey’s last WWE match at this point.

However, many assumed that her departure from the company was imminent, as the plot involving Baszler had to be rushed to accommodate her impending exit.

WWE had to fast-track their plans for Ronda Rousey due to the situation, which suggests the company may have been aware of her decision to part ways early on.

As fans eagerly predicts the outcome of Rousey’s match against Baszler, speculation continued surrounding Rousey’s future in the WWE.
