Matt Riddle’s actions outside of the ring caused controversy within WWE, ultimately leading to his abrupt exit last year.

He returned to the MLW ring earlier this week, and during the match, the former WWE personality made it clear that he couldn’t believe WWE fired Riddle.

It was previously confirmed that The Original Bro would be joining Major League Wrestling.
Fans were quite surprised as they were expecting him to debut in AEW.

The King of Brothers returned to action after being released by WWE last September.

On January 6, 2024, he faced Jacob Fatu at the Major League Wrestling Kings of Coliseum event at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
He too was victorious in the end.

At one point during the match, MLW announcer and former WWE personality Matt Striker praised Matt Riddle, but also questioned why WWE would let Riddle go despite his personal issues.

“How do you let this guy go? This guy is a star. A mega million dollar star. I don’t care what he does. How do you let him go? This is our coup de grâce right here.”

Matt Riddle also recently revealed that he is giving up his goofy WWE persona.

Original Bro will also be making his New Japan Pro Wrestling debut soon. For now, it remains to be seen how he will fare on the independent circuit.
