Ex WWE Star Backs The Rock Vs Roman Reign’s Over Cody Rhodes

WWE had a big moment when The Rock surprised fans during the Day 1 episode of RAW on January 1st.

During this appearance, Dwayne Johnson also hinted that he might want to play against the league leader.
Obviously, it brought a lot of attention to WrestleMania.

So far, Cody Rhodes is considered the frontrunner to face Roman Reigns at WrestleMania and end that saga.

Now that The Rock is back, the question is whether he’ll be out of this match after all. They will also have assistance with booking The Rock vs. Roman Reigns.

On Busted Open Radio, Mickie James spoke about the possibility of The Rock facing Roman Reigns instead of Cody Rhodes at WWE WrestleMania 40.

She loves Cody, but WWE may not want to miss The Rock vs. Roman Reigns on the biggest stage.

“You know, I love Cody. He’s my friend, he’s my brother, and I’m excited to see him shine.

He’s freaking killing [it], but if I have the option to see, if I had the opportunity to watch Roman [Reigns] and Cody again at WrestleMania or Roman and Rock for the first time ever at WrestleMania, you best believe I’m looking for Roman and Rock.”

“The Rock has carte blanche, in my opinion, in the wrestling business to walk out on any stage to call his shot.”

The Rock doesn’t come around very often, so he might want to attend a WrestleMania match this year.
This is obviously an interesting situation and anything is possible at this point.

We’ll have to see what happens in the future. WWE has several options, and The Rock is clearly the top choice at this point.
