Ex WWE Star Calls Out Company

The Rock and Roman Reigns were always supposed to face each other, but fans feared the worst would happen at WrestleMania 40.

Former WWE Superstars have made it clear that they are angry following what happened on SmackDown this week.

The ending of the latest episode of WWE SmackDown was divisive as The Rock took on Roman Reigns.
This happened after Cody Rhodes took out the Hollywood megastar and seemingly foreshadowed his title shot at WrestleMania 40.

Fans are upset by the decision and have expressed disappointment that WWE’s top babyface had to play second fiddle to a part-time job.

They’re not alone in their feelings, as several former superstars have also expressed their displeasure, including Summer Rae.

Rae tweeted that he would rather see Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes than The Rock at WrestleMania 40.

Summer Rae criticized Tribal Chief and The Great One’s part-time schedule, and also criticized WWE for detracting from American Nightmare’s victory at the 2024 Men’s Royal Rumble.

It is not yet clear whether Roman Reigns will face The Rock at this year’s Show of Shows or if Cody Rhodes will continue to be part of the storyline.
There may be many twists and turns on the road to WrestleMania 40.
