Boxing legend Muhammad Ali is dead; he died as a result of illness in his respiratory system – a condition which is described as Parkinson’s disease.

Reports have it that the 3 times crowned World Heavyweight Champion died on Friday evening at a hospital in the US city of Phoenix, Arizona.

Meanwhile Ali was been admitted into the Hospital a day earlier before death caught up with him at the age of 74.

Digging deeper, the family of the one-time Light-heavyweight Olympic gold medal have said that his funeral will take place in his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky.

According to US President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle, “Muhammad Ali shook up the world. And the world is better for it.”

While former President Bill Clinton – who doubles as the husband of Democratic frontrunner Hillary has said Ali had been “courageous in the ring, inspiring to the young, compassionate to those in need, and strong and good-humoured in bearing the burden of his own health challenges”.

And Republican presumptive presidential nominee, Donald Trump cocked the bottle with a tweet which reads: “truly great champion and a wonderful guy. He will be missed by all!”
