Gunther Has A Beef With Hall Of Famer Bret Hart

WWE has a long history of having different people in their locker rooms. Sometimes people don’t get along, and that’s true even between current superstars and retired legends.

WWE Intercontinental Champion Gunther recently revealed that he has a rough relationship with Hall of Famer Bret “The Hitman” Hart.

Although nothing will happen in the ring, Hart will still be there to comment on social media and in interviews.

Gunther recently appeared on the WWE series “The Bump” with his Imperium colleague Ludwig Kaiser.

During the discussion, they covered a variety of topics, including Gunther’s title reign, the dominance of their faction, and the relationship between both as wrestlers.

Towards the end, the host asked for opinions on several former Intercontinental Champions.

One of his names mentioned in the final section was WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart. The ring general praised the former world champion’s wrestling skills.

However, the Imperial leader did not change character, stating that Hart had expressed displeasure with certain aspects of Gunther’s fight against Sheamus.

Afterwards, he made it clear that he did not want to talk about Hitman any further, citing his memory of those comments as he had not forgotten anything.

“I think it is obvious that in-ring, he is one of the best to ever do it. Very enjoyable.

He was very popular in Germany and Austria when I was growing up. He was a big superstar there. But as Ludwig said before, I don’t forget.

And [what] that man said at my match in Cardiff and was not mentioning nice things after that. So, he is not going to get anything nice from me.

Too bad he is not in the state anymore to settle this in the ring. It would have been very interesting.”

The latest episode of Monday Night RAW featured a Fatal Four-Way Match to determine the next challenger to GUNTHER’s Intercontinental Championship.

The match featured The Miz, Ricochet, Ivar, and Bronson Reed, all vying for a title shot.

In the end, the finish was a failure, leading WWE to change plans for next week’s RAW.

We’ll have to see how WWE books this, but it looks like both Ivar and Miz will be fighting Gunther for the IC title at Survivor Series.

Only time will tell how long The Ring General’s reign as champion will last.
