JD McDonagh’s Mysterious Absence From WWE RAW Explained

WWE has plans for RAW weeks leading up to the show, but the card can always change.

Vince McMahon made some moves again, which required slight changes in some segments.

We previously reported that Judgment Day plans for this week’s WWE RAW had a slight change.

JD McDonagh was supposed to be on the show, where he would lead Dominik Mysterio to the ring, but that didn’t happen. We now have an update on the situation.

We also explained why the decision was made to remove Tegan Nox from her NXT Women’s title match against Becky Lynch.

Vince McMahon thought they wanted an established star like Natalya against Becky Lynch for her first NXT Women’s Title defense on RAW.

Wrestling news plus was informed by an inside member of the WWE creative team that JD McDonagh missed this appearance on WWE RAW, “by just a week.”

JD McDonagh was originally on the show, but that changed. We were clearly told “it doesn’t matter”.

So obviously, this week’s episode of RAW and JD McDonagh’s removal from the show doesn’t indicate any creative issues with him in WWE.
