Certainly one of the biggest names in professional wrestling history, John Cena has accomplished a lot in his 20+ year career in WWE.

He returned for this week’s SmackDown, but Cena apparently admitted that his last appearance in the ring would be closer after SmackDown.

John Cena returned during this week’s WWE SmackDown, wreaking havoc on Jimmy Uso, who rudely interrupted him during the show.

Cena also confirmed that he will be hosting WWE Payback this Saturday.

In a backstage interview with Kathy Kelly, John Cena opened up about his WWE return and said his appearance on SmackDown wouldn’t be his last.

Still, Cena has admitted that his in-ring career is coming to an end.

John Cena Hypes Up His SmackDown Return

“Every single chance I get to go out there becomes more and more special. There is no denying the fact that I’m 46 and staring down 47.

I’ve been here for over two decades. As I said out there in the ring, the last one is not tonight, but I know it’s soon.

To speak candidly, when you’re involved in this every day in a full-time capacity, you just think about what’s next.”

John Cena will team up with Seth Rollins to face Imperium’s Giovanni Vinci and Ludwig Kaiser at the WWE Superstar Spectacle event on September 8.

We’ll have to wait and see how this game goes next week.
