John Cena Opens Up On Brock Lesnar’s In-Ring Legitimacy

Brock Lesnar is more than the embodiment of the beast and is a first ballot WWE Hall of Famer.

He’s also one of the best performers WWE has to offer, which is why his part-time schedule requires so much money and attention.

Well it turns out that If you ask John Cena, there’s no way fans could question Lesnar’s legitimacy. Brock Lesnar has been in WWE for a very long time, although he took several years off to explore other projects.

During this time away from WWE, Lesnar competed in the UFC and NJPW, but he returned to Vince McMahon’s company with an equally fierce attitude.

While speaking to WWE’s YouTube channel, John Cena broke down his 2012 Extreme Rules match against Brock Lesnar. As he watched the clips, Cena commented that Brock Lesnar and legitimacy go hand-in-hand.

Every one of those [forearm shots] are truly decent hits. Man, Brock is one of a kind, he truly is.

I love watching him and I always tell you I watch the people, it’s really difficult to ignore Brock, you’re in a fight for your life, but he is also the most giving, gracious performer.

He gives it all, and there’s no way for you to question his legitimacy. There’s a ringside sign that says ‘Legitimacy Has Returned,’ and that says it all when it comes to him.”

We will have to see when Brock Lesnar makes his big return to WWE. He is likely to break the main event wide open whenever that day comes.

After all, he has more stories to tell, and any long period of time without him on WWE television means we are that much closer to his music breaking the mood once again.

Brock Lesnar and John Cena may never fight in the ring again, but they certainly created a lot of memories. Their match at Extreme Rules 2012 is a prime example of the memories they left behind for fans to revisit whenever they want
