John Cena is back with WWE for another run, and fans are really appreciating this new chance to see him this time around.

He also had his own motivations for making this return, and he really wanted to help as well.

Wrestling News exclusively reported that the SAG-AFTRA Strike opened the door for John Cena’s return to the company. Even if the SAG Strike ends early, Cena will still wrap up his scheduled dates for WWE.

John Cena will team with LA Knight at WWE Fastlane in a tag team match against Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso. This will be a fun match and will also be a highlight for Cena.

During an appearance on WWE The Bump, John Cena was asked about the biggest adjustment he’s had this time in WWE. He responded by saying he was trying to get a match and was happy to contribute in any way he could.

“I think it’s trying to get a match. This is the first time I said I’m really going to return for a long time since the Summer of Cena, and that was an instance when I could readily have matches, and I had a lot of live events.

I’m in really good shape, I had some downtime,

and I wanted to contribute, and I’m happy to go out and contribute the best way I can, but I’m here to compete.”

John Cena was asked if he had any unfinished business with Roman Reigns. He responded that as long as there was time for another match, the idea of unfinished business persisted.

“I think that as long as you’re here in WWE there is unfinished business. There’s another time, another match, you know another day.

Unfinished business, question mark? Sure, because we’re always here.”

WWE is certainly doing everything they can at this point to utilize John Cena. He’ll even be in Carmelo Hayes’ corner on NXT next week when he faces Bron Breakker, with Paul Heyman in his corner.

Only time will tell how this run for Cena plays out, but he’s certainly doing everything he can to help him.
