Kevin Owen Hurts After WWE’s Elimination Chamber Snub

Kevin Owens is considered one of WWE’s top superstars and there’s good reason for that. Owens is currently reviving his career after becoming one half of the undisputed WWE Tag Team Champion. He has wrestled in many major events, but this year’s Elimination Chamber event was not one of them.

This year’s Elimination Chamber Premium live event marks the company’s first premium live event in Montreal since 2009. The show is hosted by Sami Zayn as Roman Reigns in the main event. Sami Zayn ultimately lost the match and Kevin Owens came out to save Zayn from being beaten at the hands of Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso. Anyway, it was a great time.

While speaking to the Toronto Sun, Kevin Owens spoke about the WWE 2023 Elimination Chamber. The laureate admitted that being kicked out of the event hurt him.

“I wasn’t on that show and it was heartbreaking, I have to be honest with you… a sold-out paid view in my hometown. “Honestly, I think I got credit for setting it up because right after we did Raw and Smackdown (in Montreal), I kept telling them we needed tobe paid for each view.,we need pay per view. watch and eventually they did it and I wasn’t even on the show.

“I’m not going to interrupt, it sucks and I’m sad about it. But what can you do? I ended up being there for a bit, but at the time it was nothing, it was no longer makes sense. “But to see Sami get this moment, to see Sami have this reaction, to see Sami get what he’s deserved for so long, it really makes things a lot easier to swallow. And it’s all his credit.”

The WWE Undisputed Tag Team championship won’t be defended at SummerSlam because Kevin Owens had to take a break due to a broken rib. We’ll have to wait and see when he’s healthy again in the ring.
