WWE’s New Year’s Revolution SmackDown was an action-packed night.

The event concluded with LA Knight, AJ Styles, and Randy Orton competing in a main event match with the winner winning the Undisputed Universal title match at the Royal Rumble event on January 27th. There was quite a fight and there was some blood.

New Year’s Revolution marked the blue brand’s season premiere.

Roman Reigns and Bloodline advanced to the main event match, defeating LA Knight, Randy Orton, and AJ Styles. LA knight was captured bleeding on camera.

LA Knight was actually torn apart prior to the match when AJ Styles took several blows to the skull.

It’s unclear whether he sustained a knife injury, as there was a cut on his forehead, but it was definitely bleeding on camera.

WWE didn’t sideline L.A. Knight in pursuit of blood like they had in the past.

He stayed in the match and nearly won the triple threat match to add more drama, but Roman Reigns burst into the match and ruined everything.

This is not the first blood in recent memory. Becky Lynch also bled during her match against Nia Jax on the DAY1 episode of RAW.

Roman Reigns will face AJ Styles, Randy Orton, and LA Knight in a fatal four-way match at the Royal Rumble.

Time will tell how they book the match at Tropicana Field, but there’s always the potential for bloodshed at a big event like the Royal Rumble.
