Long-time WWE Employee Leaves Company

Published

on

WWE had begun making cuts and changes following the merger between WWE and UFC, which occurred after Endeavor acquired WWE.

The two companies have now become a single entity within the TKO Holdings group.

Releases are common when it comes to mergers, and you can see the full list of people WWE has fired since the TKO merger.

These adjustments include talent releases, staff departures and other changes within WWE, all of which have taken place in recent weeks.

According to PW Insider, WWE Hall of Famer Warrior recipient Rich Hering quietly left the company last week. This surprised many people in the company.

Rich Hering served as Senior Vice President of Government Relations and Risk Management for more than 50 years, dating back to the WWWF days under Vince McMahon Sr.

It was also reported that Rich Hering resigned voluntarily without outside influence from Endeavor or anyone else. Despite the wishes of many people in the company to stay, he still decided to leave.

Some fans may remember his on-screen appearance as the officiant at the wedding of Randy Savage and Miss Elizabeth at SummerSlam 1991.

We’ll have to see if Rich Hering goes elsewhere, but it seems like he may have ended things on his own terms in WWE. We wish him the best in his future post-WWE.
