Dean Ambrose is ‘on his way out’ of the WWE when his contract expires after WrestleMania. But he isn’t the only top star whose contract expires in April. AJ Styles’ deal is also up and he is yet to sign a new contract.

All Elite Wrestling are kicking off in May and several WWE stars have been linked with a switch to the new promotion. They have already gotten hold of Chris Jericho and rumors suggest that Kenny Omega has also snubbed WWE to join AEW.

Cody Rhodes and The Young Bucks are doing a brilliant job at attracting the free agents and are also looking at a couple of WWE stars as well. Rumors suggest that The Revival are their top targets and the tag team duo have already asked for their release from WWE.

AJ Styles also has close friends at AEW and there were rumours that he too was thinking of joining the Tony Khan backed promotion. However, unlike Dean Ambrose, AJ Styles has not made a decision and is still negotiating with WWE.

Wrestling Observer Newsletters’ Dave Meltzer now has an update on the rumour. He says, “Even though he (Styles) has friends in AEW he appears to be staying with WWE. Although right now, it’s too early to say. Anything can happen. He can leave.” [quotes via Wrestling-Edge]

Reports suggest that Styles is looking for lesser dates to work and has made it clear to WWE. He wants to do fewer house shows so that he can spend time with his family.

The next few months are going to be very hectic for WWE. They will have to do everything they can to keep their talents happy and unless they manage to satisfy every single one of them, AEW will swoop them away.
