Matt Riddle’s Absence From WWE Television Got Nothing To Do With His Personal Life

Matt Riddle’s name has been embroiled in a lot of controversy over the years and that’s not going to change. That said, he also hasn’t appeared on WWE television for a few weeks, but he doesn’t have time to rest.

Riddle and his wife Misha Montana had just announced that they were expecting a baby. Then, a few days later, a private NSFW video of the couple was leaked online to draw more attention to the direction of Original Bro.

Ringside News was able to confirm with a regular member of the WWE Creative Team that Matt Riddle has no time off due to Misha Montana being pregnant. He just didn’t get into creative plans until SummerSlam.

Matt Riddle is still working on WWE live events. He just teamed up with Alpha Academy to beat the Imperium on July 29 at a home gig in Ft. Myers, Florida. So he is always on the road. His last televised match was on July 17, when GUNHER defeated him in RAW.

Matt Riddle had a dramatic career change as he He left the world of MMA. Leaving the octagon behind, he entered the world of professional wrestling, showing off his skills and charisma in India before joining NXT. This transition opened new doors for Riddle, after the UFC fired him after testing positive for marijuana, which resulted in his departure.

Currently, WWE is focusing all of its energy on SummerSlam, and Riddle doesn’t have a match at the biggest party of the summer. This explains his absence from WWE television more than anything else right now.
