Mike Rotunda Gives Update On Son’s Health Status

Published

on

Bray Wyatt was scheduled to face Bobby Lashley in a standout match at WrestleMania 39, but then the Eater of Worlds took off and hasn’t been seen since.

This story is complicated, because Wyatt was suffering from an illness, which was reported to be life-threatening, and he did not return. Now we have a small update.

Mike Rotunda is probably best known to WWE fans as the IRS.

George Tragos/Lou Thesz Professional Wrestling Hall of Famer is also the father of Bray Wyatt and Bo Dallas, who both disappeared on their way to WrestleMania at the same time, as Dallas was the man behind Uncle Howdy’s mask.

Mike Rotunda knows a lot about what his son does, so his words carry a little more weight.

While speaking to Wrestling Binge, Mike Rotunda was asked about his son’s state of health.

The Hall of Famer said he’s “certain” Bray Wyatt will be back in the ring and hopes that will happen soon.

“You read a lot of stuff on the internet, which I wouldn’t believe a lot of it or, in my case, any of it.

So, Bray Wyatt, I’m sure he will return to WWE hopefully shortly, and we’ll go from there.”

WWE also doesn’t want to spend a lot of creative energy, time, and money on Bray Wyatt, lest something happens that will cause another disruption.

We can only hope that whatever is wrong with Bray Wyatt will resolve on its own and he will be back in the ring as soon as he can.
