NXT Storyline To Emulate CEO Vince Scandal Investigation

There’s a lot going on in WWE, and Vince McMahon’s name has been the subject of a lot of controversy.

In addition to the hush money scandal that led to his initial departure, Vince McMahon is also being investigated by the SEC and is fully cooperating with it.

Vince McMahon allegedly paid at least $14.6 million to multiple women, including former WWE employees, to keep quiet about allegations of sexual misconduct and infidelity dating back to 2006.

Another $5 million was reportedly paid to the Donald Trump Foundation after Trump’s television appearances in 2007 and 2009.

It looks like WWE is doing something very interesting with NXT to emulate Vince McMahon’s current situation, even if it doesn’t bring in any monetary value or campaign contributions.

Chase U is investigating founder Andre Chase, and things are getting pretty close.

Chase U lost the NXT Tag Team Titles to Tony D’Angelo and Stacks on the November 14 episode of NXT.

This match opened the show, but this angle was never mentioned again. Only time will tell how this investigation will turn out for Andre Chase.

WWE has used many controversial angles in the past, including inside jokes.

Chase U’s angle on this investigation is certainly close to what Vince McMahon is going through right now, and you have to wonder where the similarities end.
