According to a report from TMZ, WWE Superstar Charlotte Flair is being sued by her ex-husband. The ex-husband is Riki Paul Johnson, who she married in 2010. The couple divorced a year later in 2011.

Johnson claims that Charlotte defamed him in her book, Second Nature: The Legacy of Ric Flair and the Rise of Charlotte. One of his complaints is that she said that he is sterile and incapable of having children. Furthermore, the book says that he was fired from jobs over illegal drug use, which he denies. These claims are the basis for his lawsuit, where he is seeking to gain damages for his marred reputation.

He also claims that the book features “multiple false allegations physical and/or psychological abuse”, which he says he can prove didn’t happen (via police reports and dash cam footage).

Johnson claims that the allegations in the book have humiliated his family, which includes his three children.

He also says the book painted him as a villain to portray Charlotte as a “victim who overcame personal adversity and domestic abuse.” WWE, who are also named in the $5 million lawsuit for marketing the book, responded to the lawsuit by telling TMZ that “We recently received what appears to be a meritless lawsuit and we will vigorously defend ourselves.” Ric Flair declined to comment on the lawsuit.

Johnson is suing Charlotte Flair, Ric Flair, and WWE (for their promotion of the book). He is asking for more than $5 million in damages according to TMZ’s report.
