It turns out he won’t be attending the event, and new backstage footage shows Punk asking Cody Rhodes to finish the conversation.

CM Punk admitted on Monday Night RAW that he was indeed injured, ending his hopes of being the headliner at WrestleMania 40.

The Second City Saint also revealed that he wants Cody Rhodes to succeed at WrestleMania 40 instead.

Drew McIntyre has always been after CM Punk even after his injury, as a feud is likely to occur once Punk returns.

Punk is expected to take a break from activities for four to six months. So we’ll have to wait and see if he sta
