Renee Young started off her career in NXT and her wit and broadcasting ability quickly saw her receive much more airtime.

This brought her to co-host Talking Smack followed by WWE Backstage, and then that FS1 show was cancelled. Now she is totally departing the company.

According to Outkick, Renee Young is leaving WWE. She gave the company her notice a week ago and she plans on exiting. There is no word at this time when her final date will be. PW Insider

Young has been with WWE since 2012 and she was a part of a ton of memorable moments. She also met her husband Jon Moxley while they were both employed by WWE. She came to WWE from Canada’s Score Network.

It is unclear what Renee Young will do next. She has a cookbook coming out soon, and there could be plenty of other opportunities for her down the line. This is a big loss for WWE, but every good thing must come to an end.

Paul Heyman Reacts To Renee Young Leaving WWE

Paul Heyman took to Twitter and Instagram today to praise WWE on-air talent Renee Young after it was revealed that she has given notice to WWE.

Heyman also linked to an Instagram post where he talked more about what it was like to work with Young.

“I am, as many others are, just hearing / reading the news that @ReneeYoungWWE will be pursuing other dreams outside of World Wrestling Entertainment,” Heyman wrote.

“Besides changing her IG name, I can only imagine the plethora of projects running through this young lady’s vivid imagination. Working with Renee has been an absolute pleasure.

“She always brought out the very best in everyone she worked with, and I am forever indebted to her for her on-screen generosity and trust.

I look forward to whatever projects she chooses to grace with her passion and personality, and thank her for the opportunity to work with such a professional.”
