Retired WWE Superstar Says He’s Returning To The Ring Again Soon

Retired WWE superstar has announced on his podcast that he is returning to the ring in a tag team exhibition match for his Reality of Wrestling promotion. It will be Booker T & Gaspar Hernandez against Dexx & Rudy Garza on January 22 in Canton, TX.

“I’m putting myself in the game,” Booker said. “That’s what it’s all about. Let these young guys get a rub and let them see exactly what it takes from an inside perspective. I mean, on the job training. It’s about learning this thing the proper way, a straight line is the direction that Gaspar Hernandez is going. I’m hyped right now. I’m getting ready to do something very, very special. First time it’s ever been done, player-coach, Booker T-Gaspar Hernandez, Canton, TX. It’s going to be good.”

Booker retired from full-time wrestling in 2012 but he has wrestled a small number of shows for his promotion. He wrestled once in 2015 where he reunited with his brother Stevie Ray. He wrestled again in 2016 and in 2019. His last match was as GI Bro in an 8-man tag on 2/8/20.
