SmackDown live Superstar has been pulled out of live events owing to injury, wrestlingnewsplus.com has learnt.

Well, we know the wrestling world is pinned with injuries but at a time such as now, injury could be very costly owing to a number of big events at the corner, such as Royal Rumble, which is the road to WrestleMania and Summerslam.

However, when injury comes, we have to take it as fate especially the once which are not under the influence of the WWE Officials for some sort of feud or whatnot such as that which is still argued on Dean Ambrose.

And very shockingly, former Divas Champion and sex-star female Paige was just told she could never wrestle again after she sustained an injury when she was kicked by Sasha Banks. What of Jason Jordan and Samoa Joe who are also out of action at the moment — not to mention the ever persistent story surround career-threatening injury of Sheamus.

So it’s a shocking and painful thing to bring to your notice that SmackDown Superstar Kevin Owens has been pulled out of the ongoing live events due to persistent injury.

WWE ran two SmackDown Live events during the weekend where Kevin Owens had been scheduled to appear – not surprising as he’s one of SmackDown’s top talents right now – but an injury kept him off the card with no news whether he will appear on SmackDown later tonight. The reports suggested that he will probably not take part in any physicality if he appears.

Owens missed the shows in Hidalgo, Texas on Sunday and Corpus Christi on Monday. Owens did appear at the first night in Hidalgo on the 13th, missing the second on the 14th which would lead us to believe he was pulled completely to assess the injury further having obviously travelled to be in town for the first live event.

PW Insider is currently reporting that it isn’t a serious issue and Owens was just pulled so they could make sure he’s healthy for the Royal Rumble where he is scheduled to team with Sami Zayn to face AJ Styles in a handicap match.

Well, while Owens is an incredible in-ring talent, it isn’t too difficult to protect him from physicality in his current role. KO is one of the best talkers in WWE and his character definitely would allow him to show up tonight, cut a promo and not have to bump.

Sami Zayn will undoubtedly be by his side and could take any physicality to allow Owens to escape if WWE feels they need physicality to build the story.

Needless to say, we won’t need to wait too long to see if Kevin Owens appears.
