Nikki Bella may have found love with Dancing With the Stars’ Artem Chigvintsev after splitting from John Cena, but that doesn’t necessarily mean she wants to hang out with her ex…and his new girlfriend.

So when it comes to the idea of double dating with him, the answer is still pretty simple.

“There’s boundaries,” she said on an episode of her and Brie Bella’s The Bellas Podcast on Wednesday. “So you know what? My boundaries are, no, no…No effing way.”

Nikki Bella says she’s “so happy” John Cena has found love again … but don’t expect the old couple to break bread together with their new partners anytime soon.

Of course — Cena and Bella dated for years before breaking up in July 2018. John didn’t give up on the relationship without a fight though … he publicly pleaded to get Nikki back. But, that’s all old news and both sides have moved on … and Nikki says she’s down to be friends with Cena.

Recently, TMZ asked Nikki on-camera about John Cena’s recent new relationship with his new girlfriend(romance), Shay Shariatzadeh…. and she’s showing a lot of love for Cena. She said she was “so happy” for him and when asked if they would still be friends and if they were “good,” she said, “Oh, for sure.

“Oh my gosh, so happy for him,” Bella says.

I mean, I think John and I, I think we could always be friends.” She was then asked about the possibility of double dating with him. She replied, “Ha! I don’t know. I think there’s boundaries,” and agreed it was too early.

But, as for a double date with Artem, John and Shay??? Probably not gonna happen. “I don’t know. I think there’s boundaries, right?”

“I’m gonna kill this [rumor] right now: I will never go on a double date with any of my exes,” Nikki said on The Bellas Podcast. “I don’t want that…a double date is way different [than being friends with an ex]. I’m not gonna sit there and be making out with my man and see them make out with their girl. Like, that’s just weird. What are we trying to prove at that point?”

“I don’t ever want to go on a double date with my ex—with any of my exes,” she said. “And it’s nothing against him, his girlfriend, any of them.”

Brie Bella, who is married to fellow wrestler Daniel Bryan, asked Nikki how she would feel if John asked her out on a double date.

“Oh, that actually, I wouldn’t care,” Nikki said. “I’d almost want you to go, be like, ‘Give me details, Brie, how was the conversation, how was the kiss, how was this?’ I’m just kidding.”

The couple broke the news on Friday, saying they got engaged a few months ago after a romantic trip to France … but just now decided to take it public.

Of course, Nikki Bella was famously engaged to John Cena … and they were together for 6 years before a very public breakup in 2018.

Cena tried like hell to win Nikki back shortly after the fallout … but she slammed the door on that relationship and began dating Chigvintsev in 2019.

Bella and the “Dancing with the Stars” pro were paired up on the show back in 2017 … before they were eventually eliminated in the 7th show of the season.

Artem also posted about the engagement … saying, “You are the best thing that has ever happened to me . So excited for what’s to come I love you more then anything and thank you for saying Yes.”

As for Cena, don’t feel too bad — he’s moved on too with Shay Shariatzadeh … and they’ve been spotted making out with each other all over the place, including airports!

The “Total Bellas” star and former WWE wrestler, 36, revealed on Instagram Friday that she’s been engaged to professional dancer Artem Chigvintsev, 37, for several months.

“I said yes in France in November!” Bella captioned a picture of her and Chigvintsev sharing a romantic kiss on a candle-lit dance floor surrounded by red roses. She also included a picture of her new bling and new fiancé.

“We have been trying to keep it a secret but really wanted to share our excitement for the New Year,” she wrote, adding, “Excited for 2020 and the next decade with you.”

Chigvintsev shared the same snapshots on his Instagram account, writing, “You are the best thing that has ever happened to me. So excited for what’s to come I love you more then anything and thank you for saying Yes.”

Bella and Chigvintsev first met on Season 25 of ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars,” where the wrestler was paired with the Russian dancer in 2017. They finished in 7th place.

This marks Bella’s second marriage and third engagement. The reality star revealed on “Total Divas” that she married her high school sweetheart in Las Vegas when she was 20. They got divorced 3 years later.

In 2017, Bella got engaged to WWE star John Cena after he proposed during WrestleMania 33 in front of millions of viewers. The couple called off their engagement and cancelled their wedding in April 2018.

Chigvintsev was previously married to fellow dancer Giselle Peacock from 2004 to 2005.
