Significant Changes Made To Live Event Final By WWE

WWE had a stellar 2023 with incredible highlights, especially after the company completed its merger with the UFC.

The company also held its final event of the year as part of its Christmas tour. Interestingly, after the December 30, 2023 live event, some of the talent felt like they were experiencing Home Alone 2.

The December 30th event was held at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California.

Several matches were shown to fans at the event, including a steel cage match between LA Knight vs Jimmy Uso and Cody Rhodes vs. Shinsuke Nakamura.

According to PWInsider, a recent WWE live event at the KIA Forum had a unique structure aimed at drawing an efficient conclusion and giving talent a chance to catch a red-eye flight at LAX.

This departure from the usual Vince McMahon regime included an early steel cage and world heavyweight title match, creating a haphazard card.

The purpose was to thank the talent for their hard work during the week and allow them to go home soon.

Talent was reportedly overjoyed by the gesture, with one jokingly likening it to the experience in Home Alone 2 while rushing to the airport to catch a flight.

Now that 2024 has finally begun, we’ll have to wait and see what WWE plans for their talent.

All signs point to 2024 being incredibly successful, which has become the norm for the company.
