Sonya DeVille Picks Up Non-WWE Project While On Hiatus

Sonya Deville was injured on SmackDown on July 28, suffering a torn ACL. Although she is currently rehabbing from his injury, Deville appears to be working on projects outside of WWE during her absence.

Rumors were circulating that Sonya Deville could be returning to the Royal Rumble soon after a five-month break. However, this failed and ultimately led to fans’ disappointment.

Sonya Deville recently uploaded a photo on her Instagram story, revealing her participation in a recent film project.

According to the Tampa Bay Times, Sonya Deville is filming a movie in Pinellas County this week.

Deville plays a police officer in the film titled ‘DNA Secrets‘. The film will be produced by David Yates, former CEO of Clearwater Marine Aquarium and known for directing the two Dolphin Stories films.

Yates said “DNA Secrets” revolves around an antiques store owner who opens Pandora’s box by giving DNA kits to his relatives.

The story begins when several family members are murdered and the shopkeeper realizes that he may be next on the list of killers.

As she gets closer to the truth, she finds herself at the center of a secret that puts her entire family at risk.

The film will be filmed at various locations, including Phillip Park in Safety Harbor and the Clearwater Historical Society headquarters.

We’ll have to wait and see when Sonya Deville makes her triumphant return to WWE television.
Anyways, She wouldn’t have it any other way at the moment as she is currently busy with numerous projects.

It would be interesting to see Sonya Deville work on a movie project while she is out of WWE due to injury.
