Stone Cold Steve Austin reveals he wants to face Brock Lesnar when he finally returns to WWE

Stone Cold Steve Austin has not wrestled since his official retirement match in 2003 at WrestleMania XIX against The Rock. In WWE, retirement matches are very rarely kept to, with even Shawn Michaels coming out of retirement eight years after his supposed retirement match at WrestleMania XXVI.

However, Steve Austin has very much kept to his retirement, but that’s as much down to his injury issues as it is his unwillingness to step back into the ring. However, Austin has now revealed which current WWE Superstar he’d like to step in the ring with if he was to ever come out of retirement.

Wanting to go right to the top, Austin revealed in a Q&A on WWE’s TikTok page that he’d want to face Brock Lesnar if he was to ever step back into the ring. While both were on WWE’s main roster for about a year between 2002-03, Austin and Lesnar never shared the ring together while working for WWE.

It’s worth noting that Austin is incredibly unlikely to ever step back into the ring again, so a dream match with Lesnar isn’t even worth getting excited about.
