The WWE Hall of Famer also faces four counts of DUI causing personal injury and three counts of DUI causing property damage. These allegations stem from the death of Julian Lasseter, 75, in a traffic incident.

Of the charges, DUI manslaughter is the most serious, as it is considered a felony in Florida. If convicted, Sytch could face up to 30 years in prison, with a minimum of four years, as well as a fine of up to $10,000.

For now, Tammy Lynn Sytch will appear in court on August 16 at 1:30 p.m. KST. Jury selection is scheduled for September 15. Currently, Sytch’s trial is scheduled for the week of September 18 and is expected to last a week.

The incident that occurred on March 25, 2022, as reported by the Ormond Beach Police Department, involved Sytch driving south on U.S. Route 1, just north of Granada Avenue at 8:28 p.m. EST. Despite not having a valid driver’s license, Sytch did not stop and is said to have been driving at high speed. As a result, his car collided with Lasseter’s stationary vehicle, which then crashed into a third vehicle. Tragically, Lasseter died after being taken to the hospital. The occupants of the third vehicle suffered neck, back, side and head injuries, although they did not require hospitalization.

In August 2022, Sytch voluntarily waives the right to a speedy trial in connection with the criminal case in question. This decision gives her more time to prepare and is made while she has “criminal charges”.
