The IIconics Turns Down WWE Royal Rumble Return

Jessica McKay made a name for herself in WWE as Billie Kay, where she teamed up with Cassie Lee and became known as The IIconics.

They won the WWE Women’s Team Title, but unfortunately didn’t have a good track record as champions.

They were eventually released by the company. Now it turns out that they refused to return to Royal Rumble last year.

McKay and Lee eventually joined Impact Wrestling and subsequently won the Knockout Tag Team Title.

However, they eventually lost it and also later announced that they would be leaving professional wrestling indefinitely.

Speaking on their Off Her Chops podcast, Jessica McKay and Cassie Lee revealed that WWE invited them back to the Royal Rumble last year.

That said, they ultimately turned down the offer. Cassie Lee is also set to return to the squared circle this year, after a long hiatus. Either way, we’ll have to wait and see if IIconics ever return to WWE.
