The closing scenes of Elimination Chamber 2024 witnessed history being created when two Australia-born women competed in the main event of the premium live event.

Rhea Ripley and Nia Jax locked horns on WWE’s return to Australia with the coveted Women’s world Championship on the line.

As anticipated by millions around the world, Rhea Ripley’s return to Australia and her first match in her home country in over seven years was more than magnificent.

While Nia Jax gave her body on the line during the Women’s World Championship match against the Eradicator, Rhea Ripley was dominant enough to pick the win.

While the Australian crowd cheered for Mami all-night long, her homecoming turned out to be one of the biggest moments of her entire wrestling career.

In a recent post on X, Triple H has also given Rhea Ripley her flowers, congratulating her for a successful title defense at Elimination Chamber. He also commented on Ripley’s return to Australia claiming that her homecoming turned things up a notch for the premium live event.

“What a week it’s been for @RheaRipley_WWE. She’s main event Superstar anywhere in the world…but this homecoming just turned things up a notch. Congrats to your Women’s World Champion. Next stop: #WrestleMania XL.”

With Elimination Chamber officially in the books, Rhea Ripley is now set to defend her Women’s World Championship in one of the biggest matches of her career at WrestleMania.

Becky Lynch vs Rhea Ripley will finally become a reality and it would be interesting to see who would turn out to be on the top at the Grandest Stage of them All.
