In the latest WWE News, WWE’s Chief Operating Officer Triple H opened up about John Cena and The Rock’s rumored return. For quite some time, it is being rumored that The Rock and John Cena will be returning to the company at some stage.

Cena is also rumored to have a battle against Roman Reigns at the Summerslam PPV event scheduled for August 21 at the Allegiant Stadium. However, Triple H has said that the two icons will return to the company if there’s an opportunity for them.

Recently, Triple H sat down for an interview with the New York Post. He was asked about his thoughts on John Cena and The Rock’s rumored return. The Game said the two megastars are always ready to return.

“No matter how busy they are, I know that anytime there’s an opportunity where you would say to them, ‘Hey, you could enter the ring in WWE and do this,’ there’s a part of them that goes, ‘Ooh, that sounds like a lot of fun.”‘

Several recent reports have reported that both Cena and Rock are in the company’s plans for a return. Cena, who last wrestled in the Firefly Funhouse match against Bray Wyatt at Wrestlemania 36, has not appeared since then. Meanwhile, The Rock’s last wrestling appearance came in 2016 at Wrestlemania 32, where he defeated Erick Rowan of the Wyatt Family.

Cena is pipped for a return on the July 16 edition of WWE Smackdown when the live audience will be in attendance at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. The Rock, on the other hand, is expected to celebrate his 25 years in WWE at the Survivor Series PPV event, proposed for November 2021.
