UFC And WWE Merger Set To Be Completed

WWE shocked the world when it agreed to merge with the UFC under the Endeavor umbrella.

Now, the biggest companies in MMA and WWE are preparing to merge into one company and it will take effect soon.

In April, WWE announced its acquisition of The Endeavor Group, with the intention of merging with the UFC and forming a new publicly traded company called TKO Group Holdings.

Despite Endeavor’s ownership of WWE and the UFC, these organizations will continue to operate independently.

Vince McMahon will oversee the wrestling aspect, while Triple H will direct the creative.

The merger is expected to result in layoffs, mainly in divisions where Endeavor already has the expertise to take on WWE functions.

WrestleNomics’ Brandon Thurston reported in a tweet that WWE CEO Nick Khan has informed WWE staff that the WWE-UFC merger under TKO Group Holdings will be completed on Tuesday, Sept 12.

WWE all staff message from CEO Nick Khan says WWE-UFC merger under TKO Group Holdings will be completed next Tuesday, Sept 12.”

“Expect a press release soon.”

We’ll have to see how the company performs after the merger, and that holds true for both WWE and UFC.

Employees may fear that they will be fired and that they will lose their jobs, even though the two companies will operate independently
