In yet another revision to the UFC Fight Night Boston bill, Augusto Mendes has replaced the injured Jim Hettes and will meet Charles Rosa on Sunday evening.

Promotion officials confirmed the change to the featherweight contest on Tuesday. UFC Fight Night takes place at TD Garden in Boston and is headlined by a bantamweight title showdown between T.J. Dillashaw and Dominick Cruz. Rosa vs. Mendes is slated for the UFC Fight Pass portion of the preliminary draw, which begins at 6 p.m. ET/3 p.m. PT.

A Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt, Mendes enters his Octagon debut with a 5-0 record. The 32-year-old Rio de Janeiro native fought three times for the Texas-based Legacy Fighting Championship, including a second-round submission of Donald Williams in his most recent outing this past July.

Rosa is 1-2 in the promotion and is coming off a split-decision defeat to Yair Rodriguez at UFC 188. The American Top Team member known as “Boston Strong” owns a 10-2 professional mark overall.
